CASE STUDY
The Challenge: A promotional company asked WCG if it was possible to create an interactive kids' paper premium that simulated a briefcase, featuring an attached carrying handle as well as a special pocket that could hold an inserted plastic toy.
The Solution: The WCG print engineers created a 4 color, 5" square format, with a fold-down handle, which was produced using all in-line manufacturing processes including FDA-approved nontoxic inks, paper and glues, die cutting, forming and gluing of the inside pocket. The unit was press-pasted on the backbone and trimmed on 3 sides which eliminated conventional saddle stitching to prevent a child from swallowing or choking on metal staples.
Production of up to 1,400,000 pieces per day is easy using WCG's efficient all machine-made formats.
