As you know, there are many variables that may or may not have a significant effect on the overall quality of your finished printed pieces. For instance, your project may have such heavy ink coverage that
using a stock that has an 80% brightness (#3) versus a 85% brightness (#2) will make virtually no difference at all to the naked eye. Or, you may need to print various formats such as magazine or newspaper inserts, FSIs, brochures,
mini-catologs and comics, buck slips, direct mail packages (letters, reply cards, envelopes, etc.) which can tolerate slight variations in the paper's overall brightness, caliper and/or coatings.
By taking advantage of our direct paper mill sources, WCG will research all the currently available paper which can be matched to your project's specifications. Once we verify which immediately available stocks can be used to fulfill your paper needs,

If you care about how the finished printing project will look and not how it will be made, give WCG's "Generic Paper/Print Program" a try.
Generic papers are usually available, but on a first-come, first-served basis. We will provide you with samples of all paper stocks to be used prior to the press run.

*These paper savings are based upon our review and conditional acceptance of mill overruns, mixed lots of similiar grades, mill side-trim availability, slightly off-spec mill tolerances including brightness levels (+ or -), gloss (+ or -), coatings, caliper
fluxuations and finishes (ie. wash coats, mattes, dulls, full coats, etc.). Actual manufacturing/printing costs are not included.
To qualify for this program, client must contract with WCG to manufacture the entire printing project - not just purchase the paper.
